We have chosen to divide the funds raised through donations and fundraising activities
into two areas. |
 |
Sunnybrook Perinatal Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
We thought this was an important area as it focuses on two areas.
The first area is for moms who are experiencing high risk pregnancies
and hospitalized anywhere from 24 weeks gestation onwards – until they deliver
their babies. The care is focused on the moms and their babies in-utero.
The second area is premature or sick newborns who are incubated and closely monitored
by a very large team of Doctors and Nurses.
Sunnybrook Perinatal Research Fund
We feel that research is
a vital area to focus on with the hopes that one day all complicated pregnancies
will go to full term labour with a happy ending.
